This weird thought came in my mind when i was watching the 60th National day celebration by China. It was by far the biggest show of military might ever, more than that i had the feeling that i share with many, that it was a show for the world to see. It was a warning to the US and India not to mingle with them or else this is what will play with you!
A really bad feeling persists in my mind that there will be war in not much time. A war that wont be good for India by any means. Who knows, may be a repeat of 1962. Certainly, we won the war against Pakistan in '47, '65, '71 and also in '99, but the situation now is hell different. China has developed like a virus, from nowhere to everywhere. Pakistan has developed its army thanks to the timely aid given by stupid Americans. The US is facing the worst of the recession, and is still spending billions of its money in the much acclaimed but no result cum never ending "War on terror". I wonder how much money they will have in coming years with such a high expenditure.
Nepal, India's supporter in international politics for all these years has a Maoist Government that hates India. Bangladesh has already been sending in terrorists in the east through support from (father)Pakistan. Myanmar never liked India. SriLanka is already torn to pieces. And Now, if War breaks out...God knows...no..everyone knows what would happen.
The moment China attacks India, for its claim on Arunachal and Assam, Pakistan no doubt would seize this golden opportunity(they are well known for that), and attack India from the Northwestern front. Bangladesh and Burma may join Chinese hands( China has been working on that for years). Nepal may betray, who knows. Americans would be forced to support Pakistan(for all AID they've been giving) but since they too are against China, may refrain from doing anything! America, as they have done in both the World Wars, would stay and watch. And would enter only when it nears its end.
So, who will come for India's rescue?? EU?? why? Russia?? They are already starving, still they might support, but China may overpower them(I hope not!). We will be at our own risks. India will have to fight it out all by itself. The moment there is support from Russia, North Korea would help China. Israel, Iran may help Pak, EU may at that stage help India with material. And in no time....it would be a World War. And remember India, Pak, China, Russia, N.Korea, USA, all are equipped with Nuclear weapons!!
And here we are today, finding water on Moon!!! Spending 500cr on Statues! Worried about Austerity!!Pilots fighting for salaries!! People in our own lands don't have water, and we spend 450 cr for finding water on the moon!! And no one cares about where Indian Army stands in technological development. We still use MIGs bought decades ago, Bofors bought in 80s, Tanks used in 72!! Indians seem to be worried about the Champions Trophy. Worried about Rakhi Sawant's marriage! Who would be the next Roadie!!
Hell!.....wake up!! or you would never get a chance to ever wake up from sleep...

War is not an option in the present world scenario .The situation that exists today is certainly not similar to wht existed in 1962.Today India and China r considered as rising powers.When two countries decide to go at War thr r other factors also which r taken into account like trade ,future markets etc.In todays times whr countries are tackling recession in joint manner thr is a big risk involved to incure so much expenditure.No country in todays scenario will put thr economy at stake.
Certainly thr has been tension betn India and China but this show of power has always been a tactic that China has been using since 1962.
Also PAK has been against Israel(remember Israel has a prb with a muslim nation Palestine).India in recent past has been trying to improve thr ties with Israel.Myanmay is not against India .Infact India has never taken a stance on the military rule thr.China ofcourse has supported them militarily and financially but for a country like Myanmar who is isolated is world politics waging a war against India is not a suitable option.N being frnds with Indian enemy is not a suitable reason to spoil relns with a rising power.Also thr is Taiwan and Japan who r very good frnds of India and ve supported india in internationAL arenA so india is not alone as u wrongly claimed.India has also been using the policy of containment much like the Chinese by making friendly relns with China's neibouring enemies.Iran has always had good relns with India so just being a muslim nation is not a sufficient reason for joining Chinese bloc against India.USA will also not be against its most imp strategic partner(as they rightfully claim) and also coz a world war means deviating thr forces from Afghanistan .
Thrs lots of pressure on all countries to not go to war from UN,US and other powers.Also India and China have many common interests to rightfully claim thr positions and utilise resources together.for ex..both india and china are very much against dollar hegemony,thr has been lots of discussion for a common currency for trade and China is very much for it,then thr r oil resources whr both China and india are bidding together,thr common positions on climate change etc.Also remember China and India are biggest trading partners of eachother.BRIC countries today ve to stick together to benefit eachother and stand as a force together.FOr that they ve to forget thr personal differences and they r very much aware of that.
N lastly thrs so much of politics involved today in nuclear proliferation that no country will dare to use nuclear weapons at any costs.
But yes u r right..we shud wake up..but not to the rising alarm of enemies(India is very much aware of tht) but to the hoax like this created by the media!!!

What i wrote was frankly an outburst of frustration due to all the action that China has been doing to provoke India to do something. To add to that our lack luster response just added to my frustration.
China has full capability to wage a "military action" against India, and not "war". Please note that there is a difference between military action and war. China has been planning to take a military action that they would claim as a liberation of Arunachal, or anythin of that sort. By the time we raise alarm to the UN, they would be through.
One thing positive for us is that China does not have a great history of Wars. It claims it had won the Vietnam war though the truth remains that its main motive remained untouched. And China was nothing during the World Wars. It just has 1962 to its credit.
So when waging a military action(and not War), as it would be short, trade relations wont get as much time to halt. The Nuclear war is still a fear in every person's mind, even those who signed the NPT. No matter how many treaties we sign that fear wont go anywhere.
The reason why the time now could be strategically important for war against india is its military limitations. The armed forces were renewed in all terms during 62-65 and 65-67. The problem is that we still have those weapons ( just 21 Su-30s to our Credit ). we need to pay some heed to our position in defence, which is why we need to wake up!
